My DPhil research involves understanding the origins and distribution of the Parasa species complex, a group of pantropical green Limacodidae moths which are found across Africa, Asia and the Americas. This work combines phylogenomics, alpha taxonomy and biogeography to define Parasa, estimate its divergence time and global dispersal mechanism, and stabilise the taxonomy of this group.
