I have spent the majority of my academic career focused on North American owls. My current project explores Northern Spotted Owl conservation by comparing management plans, analysing stress hormones, and tracking changes in public perception. I am specifically interested in how these three areas have changed in the last forty years since the owls were listed as imperilled and what that means for the species' continued decline.
