I am an evolutionary biologist interested in the processes that give rise to biological diversity. My research focuses on island birds, using genomics as a tool to understand how species evolve in response to environmental change. For my DPhil project, supervised by Sonya Clegg, I am studying patterns of hybridisation and extinction in white eyes (genus Zosterops) on Pacific islands. I use a combination of population genomics techniques alongside field data to investigate evolution in real time.
