My research focuses on ethnoornithology, multispecies coexistence, community-based conservation, and animal ethics in tourism. My current project explores relationships between rehabilitators and parrots in Costa Rica, focusing on how social dynamics within rehabilitation centers influence the stress experienced by birds in their care.
